Beta opens at level 20, rises to 30, and nothing carries over

· Beta, Launch

Everyone starts at level 1 on launch day, 4 Nov.

  • The beta opens at level 20. The cap rises to 30 after a couple of weeks.
  • Clay Stone said it stays at 30 for the rest of the beta. Blizzard's official window ends 21 Oct 2026.
  • Content from 30 to 60 is not in the test, so the beta is no head start on the 1-60 route.

Unconfirmed the day the cap rises.
