The Riverglades has callbacks to the first Warcraft game.
- Nuthals said Riverglades has some hooks into some references to Warcraft I.
- He named a ruined town, Sunnyglade, as a map from that game.
- In the same interview, a Caverns of Time battleground, Gilneas and Uldum were long-term wishes with nothing to promise.
- Found Photos still names Powderfuse goblins, Twilight's Hammer, the Brotherhood of the Horse, gnolls and ogres in the zone.
Unconfirmed anything else about the town, including quests that start there.
