Classes start close to original WoW, with the wilder Season of Discovery roles toned back for now.
- Greenfield said some of the more out-there things are toned back a little bit, so the class can start original-WoW-centric.
- He still said there are meaningful changes and new ways to play the classes that already exist.
- He named Warlock tank and Shaman tank as "not quite yet, but never say never". The writer added "at least at launch".
- The article's mention of Rogue tank and Mage healer as Season of Discovery experiments is the writer's, not his.
Unconfirmed when, or whether, those roles arrive.
