How Holy plays
- Holy, the way this build orders it, fights in melee for its first twenty levels: Divine Strength raises Strength by 10%, Improved Seals adds 15% to the damage of Seals and Judgements, and Improved Holy Strike brings Holy Strike back 2 sec sooner.
- Mana is the other half. Reverence lets 30% of your Mana regeneration continue while casting, and Illumination later hands Mana back after a critical heal.
- Holy Shock is where the tree turns: one spell that either damages an enemy or heals an ally.
- Divine Favor makes your next Flash of Light, Holy Light or Holy Shock a certain critical effect, and Holy Power adds 15% critical strike chance to Holy Shock.
- Light's Vigil, the last talent, marks a target for 30 sec. Your next Holy Shock on it triggers no cooldown, and it heals the party if the target is a friend or adds Holy damage if it is an enemy.
What to press first
Most important first. Not a rotation.
- 1
Lean on Seals and Judgements for damage
Improved Seals raises the damage of both by 15%.
- 2
Use Holy Strike whenever it is ready
Improved Holy Strike shortens its cooldown.
- 3
Use Exorcism and Holy Wrath more often
Purifying Power cuts the cooldown of both by 34%.
- 4
Pair Divine Favor with Holy Shock
Divine Favor makes the next one a certain critical effect, for damage or for a heal.
- 5
Fight inside your Consecration
Consecrated Ground gives your Holy spells 10% increased damage against the first 4 enemies that enter it.
- 6
Put Light's Vigil on a target before Holy Shock
Light's Vigil makes that Holy Shock trigger no cooldown and adds a second effect to it.

Gear to look for
What the talents reward on items, and items that carry it.
- Strength first, for the melee levels: Divine Strength raises it by 10%.
- Intellect from level 26, when Divine Intellect starts adding to it.
- Spell critical strike chance has two talents behind it: Holy Power, and Illumination, which returns Mana on a critical heal.
- No Holy talent in the build names a weapon type.

Groups and dungeons
In a group: healing and damage. New group talents before 5 dungeons.
In a group these talents support healing and damage.
- The two plain healing talents are Healing Light, 12% more from Holy Light, Flash of Light and Holy Shock, and Illumination. This build takes both after Light's Vigil, so before level 41 its healing rests on Reverence, Divine Favor and Holy Shock.
- Light's Vigil turns a Holy Shock on a friend into a heal for their whole party.
- Purifying Power makes Cleanse and Purify 20% cheaper.
New group talents by the time each dungeon opens
Strengths and trade-offs
2 strengths, 2 trade-offs.
Strengths
- One spell, Holy Shock, does both jobs, so the same build quests and heals.
- Mana holds up: Reverence while casting, Illumination on critical heals.
Trade-offs
- Holy Shock arrives at level 31. Until then the damage is Seals, Judgements and Holy Strike with only Improved Seals and Divine Strength behind them.
- Healing Light and Illumination, the points that help most when you heal a dungeon, come last in this order. If you mostly heal, take them earlier.
